Western Work Force is an Australian owned company based in Perth, Western Australia. We are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions to the Construction, Mining and Oil & Gas industries through Western Australia.
Our Client is seeking Control Systems Engineer’s due to recently securing several on-going contracts in the WA region. These positions will suit Control Engineers who have experience on Mobile Machinery gained within the Mining and Resources industry sector.
These roles will initially be on a contract basis with the possibility for on-going work. You will be firstly working at their office/workshop location and then from the clients site on a FIFO 2:1 roster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience working with PLC, SCADA design and programming with control systems experience in the following platforms; Allen Bradley, CITEC, Schneider
- Demonstrated experience with commissioning activities, controls, coding and function block diagrams
- Site experience gained within the mining and resources industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a small team and unsupervised
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Degree qualifications (Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering)
- Proficient in design and implementation of PLC systems
- Eperience with Mobile Machinery, stackers, reclaimers etc
- Proficient in PLC programming/coding
- Previous experience gained in the Mining/Resources sector
