Senior Project Engineer (Concrete) for a 3 on 1 off FIFO role out of Brisbane.
This role is part of the concrete structures project start up team for a newly awarded project situated on a mine-site in South Australia.

Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, your role as the Senior Concrete Project Engineer will provide technical support and supervision, during all concrete phases of the project as well as:
- Ensuring that the project design meets operational requirements and specified engineering standards
- Promote a safe working environment that is protecting project members as well as the plant equipment and the environment.
- Ensure concrete works undertaken complies with project scope and meets operational requirements
- Prepare schedules for design work and obtain approvals for flow sheets and drawings, whilst documenting calculations, specifications and variations
- Supervision of concrete works to ensure it meets quality, schedule and budget constraints
- Monitor progress of project and identify potential issues in respect of budgets, schedules and engineering standards
- Resolving issues with the project or refer them to the project manager
Project reporting as required - Maintain and foster relationships with the project team in respect of technical issues, specifications and variations
- Develop the project team and individual competence
Profile
Our client has asked that candidates applying for this role can demonstrate the following requirements:
- An Engineering Degree (or above) in a relevant fields
- Extensive construction management skills
- Previous Mine Site and FIFO experience
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Engineer delivering projects with substantial concrete works
