We are growing our project management team and are currently looking for a professional Scheduler with demonstrated capability in the art of controlling projects on behalf of external and internal clients.

 

If you have experience in project planning and scheduling across both large projects and portfolios, and you comfortably apply your capabilities across a number of industry sectors, then this may be your next career move.

 

Primary functions include:

  • Creation of project schedules and tracking of progress against the baseline schedule and major milestones
  • Manage and coordinate planning interfaces (internal and external)
  • Ensure project schedules are delivered on time and to best practice (fully logic linked with a critical path)
  • Identify and effectively communicate efficiencies, trends or improvements in sequencing, resource utilisation and schedule performance
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams in the use of planning templates, Primavera and Microsoft Project planning packages
  • Integration with cost control system
  • Assessment of schedule impact around project change

Key criteria:

  • Experienced in Primavera P6 (essential)
  • 5 years + experience, preferably in the Engineering/Construction sector
  • Demonstrated proactive problem solving and systems development skills
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Project, Excel and Access
  • Excellent communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
