The role
We seek a Senior or more experienced Civil Engineer / Technical Lead to drive the business by creating a focus on the individuals who form the civil group and helping them to develop their own careers. Key to the role is technical aptitude but in addition to contributing on the varied projects underway, you'll also be developing existing and new relationships. The sky is the limit - there is enormous technical ability within the business and entrepreneurial flair to help you to achieve your vision. 

Projects
.. future work may depend on your passion but projects currently include: 
Recreational works, hotels, educational facilities, aged care works, residential and mixed use projects, high rise commercial. 

What we need from you
The role will not disappoint. We need a solid foundation compromising an excellent academic background and 8+ years' prior experience in the Melbourne market. You may be in a firm currently with a glass ceiling, with Principals or Associates above you and in a position where you're not able to move upwards. You may be at a small firm in a broader role and be looking to lead a team. 

..either way, essential is:

• Degree in Civil Engineering with further education welcomed. 
• 10-25 years' experience in civil design (earthworks, roads, subdivisions, car parks) project management of the same. 
• Competency managing projects and liaising with clients and third party stakeholders to run a project and commercial outcomes. 
• A people focused background, however, people management experience is not necessary. 
• Drive. Passion. Charisma. Ideas. 

Salary will be reflective of expectations and is likely to range from $130k - $170k.
