PARKER HANNIFIN the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems is currently seeking the services of a Senior Hydraulic Application Engineer based at our Office in Dandenong South.
General Characteristics:
The role is responsible for Integrated Hydraulic solutions using existing products and technologies, to meet specific requirements. The incumbent will be self driven with customer experience.
The role develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities that are to be carried out within the Engineering Team. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions, products or equipment.
Representative Activities:
- Direct and be actively involved in completing site audits, quotations, engineering submissions
- Direct or delegate the direction for the preparation of complete design layouts, production drawings, model shop drawings, sketches and diagrams
- Direct the preparation of design concepts to meet product specifications
- Direct the activities of engineering change control on production drawings
- Coordinate the activities of supporting personnel (Engineers and Drafters on all projects assigned)
- Know and apply current Engineering practices in light of Manufacturing and Quality Control considerations
- Make and/or direct the calculations involving engineering sciences (static, dynamics) and other associated hydraulic subjects
Qualifications/Education:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
Skills / Experience:
- Hydraulic Industry background
- Ability to manage projects and effectively co-ordinate tasks
- Capable of exerting excellent time management skills
- Superior communication skills
- Superior engineering solutions skills
