The role
You’ll be part of our delivery team responsible for building innovative products that help businesses become more successful. With the latest tech at our disposal and an agile mindset, we’re empowered to experiment, play and really make a difference. Are you ready to go boldly?
This is a varied and challenging role with no opportunity to be bored. With your people leadership skills and experience, you will be coaching and facilitating a career path for your team. And with you your strong technical background and experience in leading development teams, you will be driving the standards on delivery practices both within your team and across the wider engineering group.
You will be responsible for building a highly engaged team who understand MYOB, their client’s and market needs, feel connected to the services they deliver and are motivated to deliver outstanding results.
Using a consultative leadership style, you love to manage and mentor others and enable them to succeed.
What you will bring
- Direct management or team lead experience with a software team
- In-depth understanding of agile and different methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience and/or understanding of software delivery practices like: Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous
- Delivery, Continuous Integration, DevOps, Open-source technologies
Experience and/or understanding of software delivery practices like:
- TDD & BDD
- Continuous Delivery
- Continuous Integration
- DevOps
- API
- Security standards and frameworks
- Data experience
