The opportunity!
As we continue to cement ourselves as leaders in producing highly efficient energy solutions, we have a position for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Seven Hills. This role would report into the National Operations Manager and will assist in overseeing all Solar PV & Battery Storage design to ensure that our systems are efficient and compliant with CEC & other regulatory guidelines.
This is a unique opportunity where you will have the opportunity to partner with a number of stakeholders including suppliers and our energy sales, customer service, marketing and operations teams.
Some core activities will involve:
- Development of engineering risk management processes.
- Oversea Bradford Energy compliance to CEC, standards, and government regulation and licences.
- Sign off all designs for commercial, multi residential and residential solar PV and battery.
- Support category marketing and product managers with technical design and product information and advice
- Support Operations Manager & Install teams with support in design configuration and major fault resolution
- Working on adhoc projects related to our Bradford Energy arm, including power aggregation and power networking opportunities
What will make you an excellent fit and ensure your success in this role?
- Electrical Engineering tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in Solar PV and Battery design will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and true passion for renewable energy
- Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
- Thirst for knowledge – we will need you to be a subject matter expect so you must be willing to maintain your knowledge of CEC guidelines and standards
