About the role
A maintenance fitter is needed in order to maintain production assets so the uptime of plant and equipment is maximised.
As an experienced, qualified Trades Person you will have “Fitting & Machining” skills or the equivalent skill in the mechanical engineering trade.
You will have
- In-depth understanding of the installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of motors, valves and pumps.
- Food Industry experience in a GMP critical environment.
- Ability to conduct Preventative Maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Work effectively in a team environment and have good communication skills.
- Understand new technologies, systems and procedures quickly.
- You will be available for out of hours and call out from time to time as required.
- Experience in processing equipment.
