An exciting opportunity has become available for either an experienced CAD Draftsperson with related industry experience or a new graduate looking to establish their career within the energy industry. This role is located at our Jandakot Office.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing drawings, plans and designs for construction and fabrication
- Preparing flow sheets and other mechanical engineering plant design drawings
- Updates mechanical piping drawings and creates P&ID drawings for pipelines and pressure control equipment relevant to Engineering Projects.
- Maintains and update drawings and associated information within the document management system
- Maintains the CAD Updates Register and provides monthly reporting to highlight changes and updates.
- Provides technical advice and assistance to mechanical engineering design and the associated systems and processes.
Desired skills & experience:
- Mechanical design, technical drawing and drafting experience.
- Knowledge of industry design standards.
- Experience using CAD and associated applications - Bentley MicroStation experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team with proven time management skills to effectively deliver multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
