PIMS Group is a major provider of mining services to the Coal Industry. Providing operational, trades and statutory personnel to various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin. PIMS Group currently operates several large projects over multiple mine sites across the Bowen Basin. Due to recent growth within the organisation, PIMS are currently seeking applications from experienced Workshop Manager. The role is 5-days/week and is based in a modern workshop in Moranbah, Queensland, however a suitable roster can be negotiated for the successful applicant.
The successful candidate must have proven experience, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, be able to work alone, plan workload and prioritise tasks to suit customers and business requirements.
Responsibilities & desired skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
- Mechanical Trade background preferred
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical desired but not essential
- High communication skills
- Customer focused
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to analysis and improve business process
- Ability to manage a diverse range of trades within the workshop
- Strong commitment to Safety
- Strong commitment to the Quality Management System
- The ability to work both in a small team environment and independently
- High attention to details
- Flexible work ethic
- Mine Site inductions favourable
Mandatory documentation:
- Current Drivers Licence - HR advantageous
