Golding is currently seeking two Graduate Civil Engineers for current and upcoming projects in and around the central Queensland region.

The successful applicants will have recently completed a relevant engineering qualification and possess a high level of communication, analytical, organisational and computer skills with a willingness to work on site with a highly motivated team.  In turn, the incumbents will be provided with a challenging work environment with opportunities for promotion and personal development. Undergraduates are welcome to apply as full training will be provided. 

Key Role Requirements:

• Liaise with supervision and client in a professional and honest manner
• Plan and monitor cut & fill operations, including ongoing QA testing
• Implement quality control registers, and notify client of upcoming hold and witness points
• Assist in the on-site activities advised by your supervisor
• Develop handover packages for submission to client.

Key capability requirements:  

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Ability to read drawings
• Sound level computer applications, including Microsoft applications (with a focus on Excel & Microsoft Project), Primavera and AutoCAD
• Strong commitment to safe production and Golding’s ‘Zero Harm’ philosophy
• Communication including verbal, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients
• Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
