Position Profile:
We have an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Shepparton in a full time salaried position. The duties include:
- Preparation of analysis and design proposals for clients
- Undertake and manage mechanical engineering work which will include design & drafting
- Project management of projects for delivery of key clients
- Liaise with clients in the development of solutions and where necessary conduct site visits
- Identify improvements in analysis techniques and new business opportunities
Your profile:
- Be a highly competent engineer with mechanical engineering qualifications and more than 6 years experience.
- Have a strong background/knowledge in the consulting field supported by hands-on site experience.
- Be experienced with relevant design standards.
- Ability to undertake analysis of mechanical equipment using tools such as Strand7 and ANSYS
- Have a high understanding of pumping and piping.
- Have a passion for excellence in engineering.
- Be team focused with excellent communication skills.
Applicants with demonstrated project experience in the water industry would be highly regarded. Financial assistance is available for relocation to Shepparton if required.
Remuneration will be offered commensurate with the experience of the applicant.
