The Company

Our client is a leading international solar panel manufacturer and project developer, with a world class team of professionals providing innovative solutions for solar needs Australia wide. They supply high quality and cost-effective solar products and are growing and expanding significantly worldwide.

The Role and Responsibilities

- Assist both engineering/product manager and sales team with preparing technical aspects of commercial project proposals. - Interpret customer electricity bills and hours usage data to determine an appropriate system size. - Determine appropriate system design options (concept designs, options analysis, detailed design in accordance with relevant Australian Standard). - Preparation of system feasibility studies, energy yield estimates and financial performance estimates. - Work closely with our customers’ engineering and commercial teams to deliver design aspects for key projects. - Respond to technical enquiries from both end-consumers and direct customers (distributors, national retailers and installers). - Troubleshoot technical issues with installed systems, evaluate and facilitate warranty replacements. - Support in warranty and claim related inquiries from customers. - Prepare training materials on Q CELLS’ technology and products to keep both internal and external parties up to date. - Carry out and participate in training and sales meetings as required by customers and sales team.

Requirements - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Photovoltaics or Renewable Energy disciplines. - 2~3 years’ experience in a PV system design role - Advanced written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely necessary - Experience using MS Word, MS Excel (VBA experience desirable), PVSyst / Helioscope / Sketchup - CEC accreditation is strongly preferred
