About the opportunity:

Nova Systems is a leading Australian owned Engineering and Project Management Consultancy servicing Defence industry, and our Commercial clients. Our Maritime operations to date have delivered Engineering support across a number of Naval Defence projects, including but not limited to;

• MCDSPO;
• LHDSPO;
• SEA 4000 Air Warfare Destroyer.

As a result, Nova Systems has immediate permanent employment opportunities and is actively hiring professionals to provide Engineering and Project Management services across these Maritime capabilities.

If you have Engineering experience in one or more of these Defence disciplines, with an AGSVA Defence clearance then you are the person we would like to speak with;

• Systems Engineering;
• Safety Engineering;
• Test and Evaluation;
• Guided Weapons;
• Communications Engineering;
• Combat Systems Engineering;
• Software Integration and Assurance.

What we would like from you:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Defence Naval / Maritime environment (preferred but not mandatory);
• Australian Citizen with current or recently suspended AGSVA clearance (NV1 preferred);
• Prepared to relocate to Adelaide;
• Previous RAN experience (Engineering) disciplines would be highly regarded;
• Previous CASG (DMO), CDG or SPO experience would be highly regarded;
• Have a passion for consulting and the Defence industry;
• Motivated with a solution focused approach to problem solving with strong interpersonal skills;
• Familiar with Naval Tech Regulations;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Excellent client management/stakeholder engagement skills;
• Commitment to on-going professional development.
