Infrastructure Planning
LGI Level 11 - $64,958 per annum

Do you have experience in a civil engineering environment with a comprehensive knowledge of civil assets? A unique and exciting opportunity exists for the right person to join our Infrastructure Planning team and contribute to the asset management of Council’s roads, drainage and coastal infrastructure for the betterment of the Fraser Coast community.
Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Infrastructure Planning, this position is focused on the verification of defect and condition assessment data to assist in project selection and scoping to inform Council’s Maintenance and Capital Renewal Programs, as well as ensuring that those projects are aligned with Council’s Asset Management Plans and corporate prioritisation framework.
The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in a civil engineering, asset management or other relevant field, and/or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, civil asset management or equivalent. A current Class C Drivers’ Licence is essential.
Ideally they will have highly developed asset data analysis skills as well as demonstrated experience in project prioritisation, preparation and documentation. Applicants with Local Government experience in civil engineering, civil asset management or similar will be highly regarded.
