Your new company
A busy Australian Balustrades and Facades Company is seeking an eager and willing drafts[person to join their stable, close-knit team of hard working guys, the option to work autonomously, have real trust and freedom.
Built on a culture of committed skilled workers who are happy to progress in a forward thinking working environment. You will be working on a variety of custom jobs covering light commercial and high end apartment projects across Melbourne’s inner suburbs, working non Tier 2 - 3 bespoke clients.
Your new role
You will have an understanding of Drafting, working with a senior Drafter for guidance but with the ability to liaise with colleagues with ease, answering to the director and able to work autonomously. You will have the opportunity to work on high end commercial projects in a company that value their staff and want to enable their team to be the strongest they can in this ever evolving market.
You will draw from past experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works, Solid Edge or Inventor.
What you'll need to succeed
Exposure to the Australian construction industry is vital, the client will consider people from a mechanical or manufacture background but an understanding of trades in the windows and doors industry is desirable; not essential.
A capable attitude and the willingness to learn, as much as the company are willing to invest in your skill set it is important that you have a drive to excel and can take on new information readily.
