Senior Civil Engineer for an Australian Consultancy (nationwide) with a solid reputation for delivering on quality and timelines.
They are large enough to compete on all project levels and types whilst maintaining local control over strategic direction and management unlike the large global firms run by accountants and margin squeezers in the US / UK.
The Role:
- Mixed projects with turnkey lifecycles (design / solution engineering through to delivery) for primarily transport infrastructure projects, but some outliers.
- As a Senior, step into Mentoring / Management of Junior Civil Engineers.
- Full scope for Client Liaison / Advisory and Project Management.
- Fully supported by the Sydney Leadership team.
- Training & Mentoring in Marketing, Commerciality & Tendering etc to enable your step up to the Principal level.
Structurally, this consultancy was originally created with the aim of removing the internal red tape often experienced by global consultancies. The result for this position is the freedom to deliver projects without micromanagement.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering (Bachelor and/or CPEng preferred);
- 5+ years experience across projects preferably within a consulting environment;
