ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
SGS Industrial Services provides services related to quality in the industry such as construction materials testing, vendor pre-qualification surveys, quality inspection, risk management, quality assurance services and design reviews. We are currently seeking a driven Electrical Engineering Coordinator to join our Industrial services team in Malaga. This is a unique graduate opportunity for a highly motivated individual who’s eager learn and thrives on being part of a stimulating environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Being the POC for customers regarding electrical testing
- Coordinating, prioritising and scheduling testing in a proactive manner.
- Problem solving any issues that may arise including site access.
- Conducting testing in accordance with specified test methods.
- Reporting field and laboratory testing as required in accordance with specified test methods.
- Coordinating the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Ordering PPE, equipment and consumables as required.
- Maintaining training records for personnel including ensuring adequate and documented training is delivered.
- Developing new and existing testing capabilities.
- Generating proposals and complete invoicing.
- Invoicing, preparing monthly management reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- You will be a graduate (or soon to be graduate) from an electrical engineering or related discipline with technical experience in high voltage.
- Current drivers licence.
- Tech savvy and comfortable using different software and IT applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to understand complex concepts
