Whilst there are benefits of working in a large organisation in terms of size of projects, what often lacks is the one on one time spent with individual staff and the speed at which your career progresses. It is not hard to get lost in a big organisation and become a number used to churn out the work.

In a small to mid sized firm contributions are noticed and out in the open, everyone knows one another and there is a lot more nurturing and attention given to mentoring younger Engineers. 

Often this means that these Engineers will afford more responsibility on projects earlier and “earn their stripes” quicker than they would do in a large organisation. You will also find that seeing the product of you hard work is also more rewarding and you feel part of a bigger picture.

I currently have 4 small to mid sized firms chasing young, up and coming Engineers looking to be the next leaders.

Must have at least 5 years design experience in civil engineering across land development or roads projects
