Senior HVAC Mechanical Draftsperson
For over 30 years my client has been providing unequalled air conditioning and mechanical services within Australia and beyond, across a wide range of industries and project sizes ranging from the largest hospital and shopping centre through to the smallest office ducting modification. They have become specialists in installations for the pharmaceutical industry, hospital and laboratory environments. With their reputation being as sound as it is they are a contractor of choice across the country and their book is brimming with quality projects. With this in mind a new phase is commencing in their Melbourne Head Office and as such 2 senior draftsman are sought.
The Role on offer
Working a highly skilled design and drafting team and enjoying strong close relationships with the construction team this role will give you the chance to work on diverse projects and enjoy personal learning and growth opportunities. The organisation is committed to providing their technical team the opportunity to get out on site to see the projects they are designing and talk with the construction team on site about any obstacles that need to be overcome as well as ensuring best practice for future projects is learned. Remuneration
Salary will be discussed with relevant candidates - it is both negotiable and competitive.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must:
- Be a proven HVAC draftsman from within Australian, South African or UK markets
- You have worked extensively on commercial HVAC projects
- You have permanent Australian residency
- You are familiar with REVIT and have used it for at least 12 months
- You have a positive attitude and you like to focus on solutions rather than problems
- Candidates from interstate who call Melbourne home and wish to return to Melbourne to working with a great mechanical contractor are also welcome to apply.
