About the Company
Operating as a leading Global Manufacturer in the healthcare industry with multiple sites Australia wide, our client and is renowned for its worldwide innovative technologies and research and development programs.
Due to ongoing project demand, an opportunity has arisen for a talented & dynamic Process Project Engineer with a chemical background to manage & drive a range of small to medium sized capital based projects. Working with a close knit team, key responsibilities include the following:
About the Opportunity
- Effectively manage a range of medium sized capital based projects from initial design, procurement, installation through to commissioning.
- Review & approve design reviews with vendors, including P&ID's, functional, design & equipment specifications.
- Assist with costs, budgets & project timelines ensuring all projects are in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Effectively liaise with external key vendors in relation to equipment specifications.
- Participate & work closely internally with other key stakeholders
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical & Industrial)
- Experience in managing small to medium sized projects.
- Industry experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical highly advantageous.
- A sound understanding of GMP, OH&S requirements is highly desirable.
- Well developed interpersonal & communication skills.
