Client & Engineer:

Specialist engineering company, leading provider of special purpose machinery and infrastructure solutions to the global resources industry, Infrastructure and Environmental sectors.  A project life-cycle delivery company, incorporating conceptual design, production and manufacturing, machine optimisation and ongoing operations phases for each product and project. 

They are looking to hire a Senior Engineer, a mechanical or mechatronic engineer that can support the business and lead from the front.  Leading your own projects from New Product Development, effective 3D design, delivery, product testing and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide Technical Engineering and Project Management leadership for new and existing products (medium to heavy industrial machinery)
• Manage Engineering solutions, lead innovation, product and application
• Design, product testing, support, project management and delivery
• Oversee and lead multi-discipline design projects, manage governance, collaborate with other design offices to assist with national and international projects
• Provide technical support, identify product risks / issues both locally and for regional operations  
• Driving safety, technical, budget and schedule outcomes during engineering

 
To apply you will have:

• Full working rights in Australia
• Bachelor of Engineering position
• Chartered status or RPEQ qualified
• Extensive medium to heavy experience (ancillary equipment, conveyors, processing plants exp)  
• Excellent 3d design and detailing skills across 2 or more of the following; mechanical, structural, tooling, mould, mechanical-electrical
• FEA experience with PTC Mathcad, Strucad, Nastran or Pastran
• Sound understanding of materials, composites, steel, AS standards, welding and steel fabrication
• Strong presentation skills, proficient with SAP or other ERP systems, as well as MS software

 
Salary:

Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, they vary with regards to experience, $120,000 to $130,000 packages.
