We are working alongside a well-established southern Gold Coast based consultancy experiencing substantial growth in their market. They have a highly skilled and stable team and are now seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Engineer to join them in a permanent full time capacity to advise on a wide range of water industry projects.
About you:
Ultimately, you are a qualified and suitably experienced Water Engineer with excellent technical ability, innovative ideas, the proven ability to manage and develop client relationships and provide sound advice on the delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects. You are the type of person that can work autonomously, delivers a high standard of work and you enjoy what you do. You are experienced in managing projects, undertaking design and investigation work and contributing to tender proposals, reports, documentation and deliverables for your clients. You will also be experienced with AutoCAD or similar, 3D modelling, be experienced in meeting Australian design codes and would also enjoy mentoring junior Engineers.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree qualifications in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- Relevant water industry experience essential
- Technical skills associated with water / wastewater planning projects
- Experience in detailed planning, concept design and modelling
- Knowledge of Water Retaining codes
- Ability to work on and prioritise multiple projects
- Strong client relationship building skills
