We are currently looking for highly motivated Remote Intervention Engineer to join our Service Field Operations team. The basic function of this role is to use Otis systems to intervene and fix breakdowns remotely; commission new communication installs and supports technically branches, mechanics and Otisline for all remote monitoring issues.

- Communicate regularly and maintain a healthy working relationship with the State Offices, State Field Engineers and various departments throughout the Otis organisation.
Key duties and role responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all installed products and initiates changes as necessary for the continued reduction of breakdowns, in line with specific product responsibilities.
- Accepts responsibility of Product Testing, deployment and administration of REM, NMS, EMS, Elite Service and RI.
- Train and develop Otisline and other Head Office personnel and Branch Field Engineers.
- Prepares Field Instructions (Australian Technical Articles and Field Education material) for issues in a timely manner.
- Review and evaluate field problems in coordination with other departments, determines and authorises corrective actions in keeping with Company standards and safety policies.
The desired qualifications / experience for the position are:
- Electrical Licence desirable
- Experience in the elevator industry - especially adjusting desirable
- Extensive experience in the maintenance of elevators desirable
- Telecommunication experience desirable
- Excellent technical and communication skills
