Your new company
A busy organisation in Adelaide’s East is looking for a permanent Technical Officer to join its busy team. With increased activity across traffic management and traffic infrastructure planning, as well as recent promotions, a vacancy has come about for an experienced Technical Officer to join the team and partake in the department’s growth.
Your new role
In this Technical Officer job, reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will focus on providing strategic and conceptual planning, partake in delivery of projects, engage and schedule surveying works and devise effective traffic management solutions. You will, also, ensure all codes and legislative requirements are up-to-date and prepare relevant reports as well as provide advice and recommendations on an as needed basis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for the role, you will ideally have:
- A civil engineering background;
- Experience in traffic management and road design;
- Advanced knowledge of relevant acts;
- Sound knowledge of the development assessment process and;
- The ability to work autonomously, take initiative, effectively problem solve and work collaboratively.
