  • We do maintenance of Aeroplanes & Helicopters both Piston & Turbine engine aircraft;
  • One of the few aircraft maintenance companies capable and willing to do all types of maintenance covering most aircraft types from Amateur-Built / Kit-built to Multi-engine Turboprops and complex Helicopters;
  • We do complete projects right from assessment of aircraft overseas to importation to putting the aircraft through the Australian Certificate of Airworthiness process to modifications for Customer selected Operational Role and thereafter continue to support the customer with all their maintenance needs.

 

 

About the role

  1. The applicant will be required to use their skills on both Aeroplanes and Helicopters - adequate assistance will be provided for unfamiliar aircraft types;
  2. You will have adequate recent experience to satisfy CASA Licence requirements of at least 6 months of maintenance certifying experience in the last 24 month period;
  3. Agree to be nominated as a Job Coordinator during maintenance activities to meet the requirements for the issue of Maintenance Releases;
  4. Be fully conversant with the airworthiness requirements pertaining to maintenance of aircraft and in particular CAR Schedule 6;
  5. Be able to integrate well with other staff and work as part of a team;
  6. Be aware of the requirement to practice individual quality control at all times reflective of company practices;
  7. Assist in the upkeep of the condition of the Hangar and in keeping all Ground Support Equipment clean, functional and in calibrated status;
  8. Impart on-the-job training to AMEs & Apprentices.

Skills and experience

  1. Must be a CASA Licenced AME with at least B1.3 or B1.4 ratings;
  2. Must have at least 2 years of certifying engineer experience;
  3. Must have a sharp mind, open to challenging work and ability to think outside the box but never compromising safety of aircraft or people;
  4. Any of CASA B1.1 or B1.2 type ratings will be a distinct advantage;
  5. CASA Pilot's Licence well regarded with excellent opportunities for flying different aircraft types.
