A multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong national presence, their specialist facades group also has operations worldwide, and have established an enviable reputation as a leader in the facades market. With a substantial project workload forecasted for the new financial year, they now have an opening in their Perth office for a highly experienced Facades Consultant/Engineer
  
Working closely with the structures team, the role provides a high degree of autonomy and will require a candidate that is self motivated, although support will be provided. 

As an Senior Facades Consultant you will report directly to a Director of the group and liaise with key project stakeholders such as clients, architects, builders and your internal colleagues. You will lead project teams in the design and delivery of world class new build facade systems as well as diagnostics and remediation.

As the ideal candidate you will likely have:

• Circa 8+ years of industry experience including: Technical understanding of facade systems and conceptual design skills
• Strong report writing, freehand sketching skills
• Focused in providing the best facades solutions
• A good breadth of technical and  facade industry based experience
• Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously
• Ability to work with resources in other locations
• Associated software knowledge and use
• Good communication skills both written and verbal (key to client presentations)
• Great people skills in order to manage people and develop relationships
• A recognised and relevant tertiary engineering/architecture qualification (registered architect preferable)

 This role is open to candidates willing to relocate interstate, and overseas candidates with working rights in Australia. Sponsorship could be considered on a case by case basis and for the right candidate.
