My client is well-respected leader in providing electrical engineering and complete industrial automation services to a number of key industries including Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, Pharmaceutical and Mining.
About the Opportunity
- You will be responsible for design and implementation of a wide range of electrical and automation solutions to meet client needs.
- Working on assigned tasks within a project group or autonomously from the list
- below:
- PLC and SCADA development and commissioning as required
- Co-ordination of software resources on projects
- Pre sales technical assistance to the sales team
- Interpreting a customer’s requirements and developing a specification and involvement in presentation of the solution to the customer
- Provision of timely and detailed project updates
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems
- Facilitate the production of documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams and electrical drawings
- Developing Client and Supplier relationships
- Ensure standards are maintained
- Comply with Company Safety Procedures
About You
This qualified Engineer with either have completed an Engineering Degree or diploma with 1-5 years’ of experience in the automation industry with relevant experience in a similar manufacturing technology environment. You will understand available technology in manufacturing; have experience with Allen Bradley hardware and Siemens. Experience with Citect, Wonderware and FTView is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, and ability to problem solve is essential.
