What an opportunity! Join this global manufacturing market leader who specialise in innovative sustainable building solutions.
We are looking for an energetic, & passionate Graduate Technical Services Engineer to join the technical team. You will be providing design and application advice related to the products to owners, architects, main contractors and installers, to support and train the sales and business development team in Australia. You will also liaise with overseas clients and stakeholders.
Your new role will include, but not limited to;
- Providing technical advice to customers
- Providing design service for building specifiers, consultants and contractors
- Interpret customer technical requirements, and engineering drawings
- Interpret customer requirements in relation to company product range
- Work closely with the regional sales team, providing technical advice and guidance for projects
- Train and develop the technical competency of the regional sales team
What do you need to be successful:
This is a graduate role, we are ideally looking for someone who has recently completed their degree, or diploma in construction technology, engineering (mechanical / structural / construction / civil)
- Formal engineering or architectural qualifications
- Exposure to civil engineering, building and construction, structural engineering
- Good communication - verbal & written is critical
- Ability to interact with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to interact with all other business functions
- AUTOCAD experience - preferred
- Building design experience - preferred
- A strong work ethic and desire to succeed
