A unique opportunity to work for an award winning and rapidly expanding Indigenous civil contracting business in tropical North Queensland. Based in Cairns, Bama Civil was established in 2010 and attributes its success to repeat clientele comprising Federal, State and Local Government agencies as well as private and not-for-profit organisations. Our high service culture is the key to our success. We ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget and without fuss.
Due to successful growth of the business, we are looking for a highly motivated Civil Engineer who is capable of actively planning, coordinating, supporting and efficiently managing the team's operation duties and responsibilities.
You should have a keen interest and passion for what you do as well as a keen eye for detail and pride in your work. This role provides endless opportunities, including secondments to work on multi-billion projects nationally for one of Australia’s largest multi-disciplined infrastructure services business.
As a prerequisite you will have completed your Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and ideally:
- Desire a career with a mixture of office and on site environments;
- Be a good communicator, both written and verbally;
- Have an ability to integrate into and work well in a team situation;
- Be able to fluently navigate your way around Microsoft Office Suite;
- Hold a minimum Class ‘C’ drivers licence.
