The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Technical Officer to join our AECOM business based in Sydney. As a Principal Technical Officer, you will provide leadership to technical staff on complex, large scale projects that deliver high standard outcomes for AECOM clients. The successful candidate will provide mentoring and career development to their team members.
About You
- Lead the local design team in both technical development and coordination of tasks;
- AutoCAD and Revit drafting experience
- Experience in drafting of building services engineering drawings in Revit format
- Successful track record in field of expertise and substantial project experience
- The ability to communicate at all levels
Key Requirements
- Appropriate qualifications
- 8+ years relevant experience
- Experience drafting building services to a consistently high standard and quality
- Conversant with latest version of Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks and web based document management applications such as Aconex, Teambinder, etc.
- Understanding of building services design principals
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, and the ability to develop a strong client base
