The opportunity –
Civmec are currently seeking a Project Engineer with over 3 years experience and a Civil background in the mining / resources industry for a FIFO opportunity from Perth to North West WA.
In a Project Engineer role at Civmec, you will –
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Monitor and review design changes to assess the effect on project budget and schedule
- Assist in the preparation of progress claims and variations
- Preparation of work schedules and material requisitions
- Review and approve technical deviation/query requests and maintain TDQR register
- Contribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to defence standards
About You –
The preferred candidate will have a civil backgound with over 3 years experience in the mining / resources industry. The following will also be required -
- Tertiary engineering qualification
- A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to changing goals
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- The ability to establish effective working relationships with direct reports; providing clear direction and supervisor to achieve great results
- Be adept at using your interpersonal and communication skills to influence outcomes
