Our client are the market leading producer in their chosen sector, and are now looking for a strong CI Process Engineer with a background in manufacturing best practices, Safety Standards, LEAN and Six Sigma.
Reporting into the General Manager you will be expected to contribute technical support to achieve process and cost improvements ensuring the on-going success of the business, whilst maintaining a safe working environment and driving quality manufacturing standards.
Key responsibilites:
Issue reports of results, technical specifications and recommend process improvements.
Conduct engineering assignments entailing process investigations, equipment development or modification.
Accountable for the efficient performance in the production plant and across maintenance.
Develop safety standards, procedures and manuals.
Support the Technical and Quality team and ensure adherence to safe and environmentally correct work practices
As a professional Engineer you will be able to communicate ideas successfully and collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve project and product delivery goals. Your background in CI, process and manufacturing engineering will help drive new product and production standards.
To be successful for the role you will have:
Experience in process improvement role within food manufacturing
At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
High level experince in CI Principles – Six Sigma, KT, TQM, LEAN etc
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision with consistently high degree of accuracy.
