A global well-reputed consultancy has created a new opportunity of a Senior Hydraulics Engineer to join their ever-expanding team on a permanent basis. Cementing themselves in the Australian landscape, their multi-disciplinary project portfolio will allow you to work on projects you’re most passionate about including commercial, education, government, aviation, infrastructure, residential, healthcare, critical systems and mixed-use.

Responsibilities

Within the role, you will be reporting directly to the Hydraulics Section Manager. A sector that strives on precision of every angle on the project. The role will require but isn’t limited to:

• Technically deliver all stages of design, documentation and construction for hydraulic and wet fire services
• Provide support and mentoring to Junior staff members
• Keep fellow Senior Engineers and PE’s informed as to project progress
• Being innovative based on customer and industry requirements
• Participate in design reviews
• Support clients and internal customers on technical queries
• Contribute to the company culture

Requirements

• Engineering degree from a known Australian institute 
• 6+ years’ experience working as a hydraulic engineer on a variety of projects
• The will to constantly seek out new opportunities to bring in future projects
• Ability to network and build close partnerships
• Have a design background and ability to be hands on when required
• Passion, drive, charisma
