Design Draftsperson
About the role:
We are currently seeking two (2) suitably experienced Design Draftspersons based in our West Perth office for an immediate start.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform system design in 3D using Autodesk Inventor software
- Thorough understanding of BOM control
- Produce assembly drawings and layout for clients
- Produce fabrication drawings for the Workshop and Sub-contractors
- Design conceptual layouts for equipment
- Produce P&ID and PFD drawings
- Establish and use parametric models for our product range
- Visit client sites to evaluate and develop designs and to check dimensions
- Conformance to Aerison, client and Australian standards for drafting
- Proficiency in sheet metal work is desirable
- Understanding of Structural Australian Standards (advantageous)
- Piping experience with both steel and plastic (advantageous)
To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience
- 5-10yrs or more years experience in a similar role
- Exposure to air pollution and acoustic products is highly desirable
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
- Demonstrated discretion when dealing with confidential information
