About the Role

You will provide strong leadership that engages, motivates and inspires the Utilities team to deliver critical services to our communities.   

Reporting to the General Manager (Infrastructure Services), you will:

• lead, manage and develop the Utilities team to deliver outstanding water, wastewater & gas related services and encourage productivity and innovation;
• ensure the effective operation and maintenance of WDRC's water & gas infrastructure assets;
• be responsible for building a motivated and high performing cohesive team; and
• develop the strategic direction and operational plans for the Utilities function.

About you

To be a successful applicant, you will have:

• a relevant degree in Engineering or be able to demonstrate related experience;
• leadership and operational line management experience of a multi-disciplinary team;
• considerable experience and demonstrated capability of leading the delivery of capital intensive and customer focussed essential services in a large geographical area; and
• a demonstrated ability to lead innovation and change, with superior communication skills.
