They have an opportunity for a Radar Technician to join their team to assist with a major project.
Your new role
Your new responsibilities will include supporting the installation, testing, maintaining and problem resolution of radar systems, communication radio equipment and ICT Infrastructure tools. You will be assisting in product design, risk mitigation as well as other systems engineering activities throughout the lifecycle of the project.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must hold at minimum a Diploma of Technology with proven proficiencies in electronic, electrical or communications engineering. You must be a qualified Electrical Technician or have equivalent previous experience in Radar Systems installation and maintenance, as well as system and bench level electronics troubleshooting. Further, you will have extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and radio communication principles. Ideally, you will have past experience within an Aerospace or Defence setting. As this is a Defence opportunity you must currently have or be eligible to obtain an NV1 Australian Defence Clearance
