Your new company
Within this multinational organisation focused in a Defence engineering environment, an exciting and immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Systems Engineer. Due to expansion on current projects they are looking to add an engineer to their existing team in a mentoring and leadership position.
Your new role
This Senior Systems Engineers’ responsibilities will include guidance for specification, design and integration activities to ensure an informed and consistent approach to system development and verification. You will review designated engineering documentation and ensure it meets specifications for delivery. Your focus will be on the management and control of engineering and quality assurance activities required for product development. Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the complete engineering function including Software, Hardware, Systems and Mechanical Engineering teams in an R+D environment.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success in gaining this position. You will hold tertiary Degree qualifications in Engineering and have experience in solution design, requirements management, leading design reviews, development of system engineering documentation and an understanding of working with Defence stakeholders and customers. Additionally skills in systems safety and manufacturing testing will be advantageous. Due to the industry environment you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
