Are you looking for a career change or your first industry based role? Our client who is a leading manufacturer and distributor in home appliances and consumer electronics in ANZ is seeking a Product Validation Officer to join their experienced team on a permanent, full time basis.

The Role
Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Creating testing plans and setting up a variety of tests for new products
• Assembling products from scratch
• Working within research and development and help develop instruction guides
• Overseeing regulatory compliance matters for all imported products
• Assisting with product audits
• Ensuring all products have appropriate certification (e.g. electrical, gas and water)
• Administering overall product approval for Watermark, GEMS and WELS
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of regulatory policies, procedures, documents and reports
Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have strong administrator skills and technical acumen. Our client is looking for a hands-on, tech savvy individual who enjoys building and reviewing products in tandem with creating and reviewing product manuals, instruction guides and certifications.
• Tertiary degree in Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical or other relevant degree
• Previous technical experience is highly desired
• Strong interpersonal skills and good team player
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
