SERVICE MANAGER

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager or Supervisor to join a crane servicing company. The company has been rapidly growing in the last twenty years.  The company has a strong focus on achieving quality service to customers and a providing a career path for employees

  • You will lead the team of experienced Service Technicians, planning service call priorities, liaising with customers on equipment issues, prepare quotes to customers, ensuring repair equipment is fully operational, and scheduling service calls as per agreements.
  • You will also be responsible for training staff to ensure they have the level of competency required to efficiently carry out their role.

To be successful, you need:

  • trade or tertiary qualifications in an electrical discipline,
  • 5-8 years previous experience in a similar role,
  • good fault finding and problem solving skills,
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • and good planning and organisational skills.
  • You also need to be able to efficiently control a 24/7 service operation and handle the reporting and administration functions.
