BOILERMAKERS

Career Boss WA is seeking experienced Boilermakers & Welders for an immediate start on a short-mid term Contract role with a well-established locally owned businesses Perth Metro.

The successful candidate will be required to work between Monday to Saturday approximately 8-10 hours per day  as a BMW / Welder MIG/FCAW/Tig in a production type environment. (Day Shift / Night Shift)
 
To be considered for this role you must: Structural Steel Structures & Platework Chutes & Hoppers.

• Welder’s - Have Minimum 5 years MIG/FCAW or Tig welding experience
• BMW’s - Have Minimum 5 years Structural / Plate Work / Pipework
• Relevant qualifications (Desirable)
• Demonstrate clean and quality MIG/FCAW or Tig welds
• Experience manufacturing In Plate work / Structural / Piping etc
• Previous proven experience working in a fast paced production environment
• Proven stable work history
• Excellent attitude to safety
• Elevated Work Platform
• O/Head Crane Experience
• Forklift Licence - Desirable
• Working at Heights
• Confines Space Entry
• Excellent communication skills
• Current drivers licence and own reliable transport
• Own Welding Gear & PPE
• The ability to Pass a DAS Screen (Drug and Alcohol Screen)
• Current National Police Clearance
• Construction Blue Card/White Card
• Be physically fit
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude, be able to work to tight schedules
• Very safety conscious and able to adhere to company policies and procedures
