The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Director Project Controls to lead our Project Controls team in the Program Management Office. This newly created position plays a key role in leading the development and implementation Project Controls of across the division, identifying and providing solutions in areas of complexity and supporting portfolio reporting for Executive governance, reporting to the Executive Director Program Management Office.

The primary purpose of the role is to lead and manage the Project Controls function for the Program Management Office and Infrastructure & Services Division, managing and deploying project controls capabilities as well as monitoring and reporting on the Infrastructure & Services Division portfolio.

 

The role will ensure and assure the project controls enable the effective controls management of the Division in alignment with TNSW policy for all capital and recurrent programs. We are looking for a Director Project Controls who can model good leadership to inspire people and drive change. The Director will lead the development and implementation of project controls management and assurance, scheduling, cost estimation and document management will have experience working on large projects/programs.

PMO are responsible for the management of consistent deployment of project management and commercial support across I&S to enable the end-to-end development, service performance reporting, divisional governance and management, safety design, build and operation of transport infrastructure and services and to drive a ?safety aware? culture.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
