They currently have a vacancy in the chemical product division as a Territory Manager responsible for looking after process analytics portfolio.

 

The Position

As the territory manager for the Victoria process analytics portfolio, your primary focus will be to maintain current relationships while developing new business partnerships across the pharmaceutical, power sectors, food & beverage and the chemical industries in Victoria. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Achieve set and agreed annual sales and margin budget
  • Update, improve and increase accurate data in the CRM
  • Nurturing existing clientele to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Following up leads in accordance with the company matrix
  • Develop new strategic accounts
  • Carry out product demonstrations both in-house and at customer sites
  • Providing consulting services to the Process Analytics clientele
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cooperative outcomes, actively seek opportunities for cross divisional selling
  • Preparing quotations in a timely manner to present to prospective clientele
  • Submission of accurate sales forecasts to the Business Unit Manager on a monthly basis or as directed

 

The successful candidate

The ideally candidate will hold expertise across both chemical engineering and the sales industry. You will be required to validate previous experience as a territory manager, providing complex solutions, servicing at least one or a number of the following industries:

  • Water industry
  • Food & Beverage industries
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Oil & Gas

You will have a history of success, achieving sales targets in your territory no matter the obstacle. You will demonstrate an innovative and ‘outside the square’ approach to conducting business. You will maintain outstanding spoken and written communication, building fruitful and amicable business relationships at both a technical & executive. Only candidates with formal qualifications in Chemical Engineering need apply.
