ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Located in Chatswood, this engineering consultancy is a multi-divisional firm specialising in Civil & Structural Engineering across NSW. With a focus on the built environment, this team have been involved in various commercial, residential, aged care and retail projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
This is a hands-on role for a Structural Engineer at a junior to mid level. You will work alongside a team of roughly 15 engineers and be involved with structural design, site inspections and assist with dilapidation report writing. In this position, you'll receive hands on guidance from the Senior Engineers.
DUTIES.
- Assist the structural team with the design of diverse structural projects
- Utilise RAPT, Inducta, Strand7 and Microstran design software
- Conduct regular site inspections
- Help out with remedial dilapidation report writing
- Attend meetings with Clients, architects and other stakeholders
- Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Prior experience working within a consultancy environment
- Familiar with PT & RC concrete and steel structures for design and inspections
- Proficient with Inducta, Strand7, Microstran or RAPT is favourable
- Strong verbal and written communication
