This Leading Global Infrastructure Consultancy provides advisory services across the rail industry. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are seeking a talented, client focused Principal Rolling Stock Engineer to join their Perth Infrastructure team. Performing a key role within the Rail team, you will lead and contribute to building of the Rolling Stock capability in WA.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Solid Design and Project Management experience in the Rolling Stock Rail industry
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through the design phase of projects
- Ability to identify new business leads and work with the Business Development team to win new work
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Knowledge and experience:
- Professionally qualified Engineer (Mechanically or Electrically qualified)
- Light Rail experience (design, procurement, introduction/maintenance and operations)
- New build design/commissioning/operations
- Demonstrated success in Project management and leading teams and clients through change processes
- Consulting experience and the ability to identify and develop new business leads and work with the Business Development team to win new work
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience of rolling stock/operator licencing arrangements
- Rolling stock Maintenance strategy development and management
