You will be joining a leading Medical Device distributor in the Melbourne location - our client is committed to customer relationships and providing the best level of service to provide care for patients.
About the opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual who is keen to join a dedicated team of service professionals, committed to delivering customer-focused service to the reproductive health sector.
If you are a well established engineer within the Medical Device space with experience working with imaging and or surgical devices with strong Technical and Customer skills then this could be an exciting new opportunity for you.
Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Technical Service Manager you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Conducting installations in accordance with customer requirements and specifications
- Performing Preventative Maintenance as scheduled
- Conduct repairs, calibration, servicing of a full range of products to our clients customers
- Performing remote repairs and hardware system support to assigned accounts
- Support interstate engineers and also New Zealand as required - some in house training over seas
- Taking ownership of Service situations
- Provide quality support to the Customers
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role ideally you will:
- Hold a tertiary qualification(s) or post trade qualification in an appropriate Engineering field.
- Ability to talk confidently with the customer about products & services
- Knowledge to install, repair and maintain medical equipment
- Possess excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
- Be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on challenges, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly and keeps abreast of new & emerging technologies
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong customer service focus.
- Strong organisational skills and ab
- Works well under pressure & can take ownership
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Must be eligible to live and work in Australia and have a valid passport
- Must have full Australian driver's licence
