Project Engineer

Siemens has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Power Generation Services team based at our Bayswater offices in Melbourne. This role will be reporting to the Service Operations Team Leader and you will be responsible for solving complex engineering problems working alongside a mobile site team of up to 150 engineers, international specialists and trades labour. All working to inspect, repair and reassemble the machine in the shortest possible duration. Every project will come with its own challenge and opportunity for personal growth. 

This challenging and rewarding role will be to support overhauling gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and compressors travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will learn through global experts from our German engineering house.

Do you like the idea of standing under a 200 ton gas turbine, after a major overhaul that you planned and executed? Are you excited by the idea of working with a machine the size of a bus, rotor spinning at 3000 RPM, generating hundreds of megawatts of energy for Australian homes?
