As opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to join our team working on our 180 Flinders Street Development, in Melbourne CBD.  This is an excellent opportunity to join the John Holland Building team working on the new CBD project with a completion due August 2020 .

As Project Engineer you will be responsible of the  coordination of on-site engineering activates to achieve project time and budget objectives

Responsibilities of the role include;

• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
• Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
• Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Site Manger or Project Manager
• Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
• Contribute to improvements to existing designs
• Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes 
• Manage work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes

To be successful in this key role, you must have;

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
• 5-10 years’ post graduate engineering experience with 3+ years site based
• Project Engineer and operational experience on  > $10 M Projects
• Advanced skills in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite; Primavera 6
