A Principle structural position with a consultancy operating in the high rise and heath care building structures space is now open. This is a rare opportunity to step into a technical manager position currently overseeing a small senior team in Melbourne. The post is fully supported by a comprehensive engineering division in Sydney. The business seeks a high achiever who is well tuned to the Melbourne high rise and heath care project space and who has the knowledge and experience to market the team through tender submission.
 
This is a highly successful organisation identifying market trends in Victoria capitalising through continued growth in their Melbourne operation. Leaders with in the Vic buildings segment need to have the motivation and ability to support new business, deliver designs and build a structural technical team around them.

Criteria

• Masters in engineering, minimum bachelors of civil engineering
• Minimum 15 years structural engineering experience - main stream consultancy
• Genuine aspiration and capability to manage project delivery and people.
• Advanced design skills – high rise building structures and large commercial projects
• Articulate with the ability to confidently lead meetings with leading architects and contractors
• Proven tender submission with excellent Negotiation skills
• Self-motivated
• Man management
• Ready for a challenge and the next amazing chapter in their career
