Overview of the position

The core responsibilities involve the service and maintenance of Tetra Pak processing equipment at customer sites.  This highly mobile position based in Melbourne will appeal to a person seeking plenty of variety and interest in their work. 

Duties:

• Carry out regular maintenance on customer's equipment according to requirements and ensure good machine performance after service.
• Troubleshoot technical / operation problems on customers' machinery.
• Record and follow up work performed
• Provide advice, feedback and training to team/customer; as required
• Install serial machinery and accessorial equipment according to lay out provided.
• Commission newly installed machinery for its intended purpose.
• Carry out rebuilding/ upgrading of customers machinery.

       Professional skills and experience

• Mechanical fitting trade qualifications
• Experience working in the dairy industry

• Highly customer service oriented
• Fault finding skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and with a team
• Self motivated
• Previous experience with Tetra Pak machines or in the diary/juice industry, would be highly advantageous
• Must be willing to work OT and flexible hours to resolve customers' issues
• Able to travel extensively and at short notice
• Must have valid drivers licence
